Have you ever been broken by God through a circumstance? Sometimes God uses circumstances to bring us break us and bring us back to Him. All of a sudden through something that happens the scales fall and you realize that your perspective and focus has been off. You have been tantalized by the world. But God in his infinite mercy and love uses circumstances to reveal to you the state of your heart. God uses that event to shock you into reality and then,as a Christian, you turn to the Word and He strikes again through the Sword of the Spirit.

It stings. It is supposed to. But when we are chastised, disciplined, it should, in a way, cause us to cry out for joy. Now don't start hollering'. I know what I am saying. After repenting and coming into fellowship with Him we can rejoice. Not only b/c He is faithful to forgive when we repent but also that He even bothers with us.

We are so unworthy to even be in fellowship with the Creator of the universe. We who, in our sin, hate Him. But God, b/c He is good and just, made a way for us and draws us unto Himself. And if we are His He will not leave us to our own devices. He will bring us back to Him. He promises He will. "He will perfect us until the day of Christ Jesus". I'm sorry I don't remember the reference.

We stray so often and sometimes so far into sin we don't even know we are there. But our Great God brings us back to Him if we truly are His. That is why we can rejoice. Not only that He will forgive but at the fact that it is an assurance. Hebrews 12:3-11 tells us that we can know that we are of the faith if God disciplines us.

Ya'll I am making very little sense today. This is one of my favorite verses right now.

Ps. 119:67.
Before I was afflicted I went astray,
But now I keep Your word.

The cross references that are tagged onto "afflicted" are Pr. 3:11-12 as well as Hebrews. Job 5:17 is another verse that goes along with this.

Wow this isn't well written. Very little of my stuff actually is, but this is especially topsy turvey.

It seems like my poor blog is being neglected only getting posted on once a week. Oh well.

Let us go back in time to what has happened in the past week..... How about only to yesterday?

My grandpa is not in the state that holds his house right now so we, being the wonderful family that we are, went out to his house to get the mail. The very polite, kind, diligent, plebeian mailman that I have never met didn't show up on the day that he was 'sposed to. We stayed and stayed and then we left b/c it gets hot at grandpa's house. Thus my mother was forced to venture into the wilds of our neighbor state.

What I forgot to mention before our great exodus was that Coley called. She was bawling. Yesterday my Colie (yes BD she was mine FIRST) left the good old U.S. of A. for London, England. Her guy was there that morning before classes to say goodbye. Mom told me that Shawna Momma said that at the airport she didn't cry which is good. While she is over there it is very little contact with this side. No good. 3 weeks only 3 weeks. :(

Note: Colie's staples came out fine. She said that she squeezed her man's hand till it turned a funny color but it only felt as if she had someone plucking her leg instead of eyebrows.

Today I am home with Beans Louise and Nopee as the rest of them went with mom into the wilderness. I think we are gonna have some fun...

Saturday. Looking ahead my dears. Saturday we are having a ginormous garage sale for some people at my church who are going to serve as Missionaries in Greece. We already have a ton of stuff and some of it looks really good so if you can and would come by and have a look. It is gonna be at the rent house.

Alright people muy amore!

I opened my blog and went " Oooo, need a new post" and then thought "I have nothing to say".

Today mom did some rearranging in the house and moved the TV into the living room from the dining room. We now have a place to put it in there. Some sorting was accomplished.

I did some school. Only 4 more days of last years English! I need to do some math tonight.

Dad just broke something. He isn't too happy and what do the kids do? Come watch. They have to investigate and it isn't a good thing.

Kels got into town yesterday and afternoon which means that "the car" is in town. So after spending about an hour at my house I said "So ya wanna go for a ride?". So Taters, Wounded Soldier,I and the driver went for a road trip through town. I called Heath and she was so very excited so we went to see her. First, b/c it was on the way we stopped at the Csg house and Mr. Csg drove "the car". After that we headed on to Heath's and showed off the ride. We took her for a ride and her daddy came out to look at "it". Our whole alias for leaving the house was drinks. We were going to SB. So after giving rides we went to our final destination and bought drinks. While we were there we saw Heath's brother and their church friends. It turns out that a girls' dad was the one that pulled their group outside to check out the car. It was funny cause Heath's bro was a bit bummed about having to be somewhere and not able to ride and he isn't even the one who checked it out first!

Drinks done and gawking accomplished we shipped out towards home. Did you know that people really like nice cars and they honk at you and ask you at the stop light "Is that a new challenger? Whered'ja get it? ^Insert word that shouldn't be used^ They don't even have those here." and people on little motorcycles almost can't drive b/c they are too busy looking at you? Oh the joys of having such a toy. Mom enjoyed her frozen Mocha and I suffered from what I think may have been a caffeine induced migraine. That's alright I had fun and now I might know better. But who know whether that head ache was from the drink or not. It might have just been coming to me. I may have to try another one to see if that really was the cause.

I think that is all of my adventures from the weekend. Sorry this was another one of those unstimulating posts.

Turquoise duct tape wraps arms beautifully

Did you know that little boys, when they are angry and unregenerate, sometimes behave like dogs and pee on whatever they wish.

Yesterday evening Nicole went to do her usual house sitting chores at the Danari's and was slit by glass in her calve. I bled profusely, so I understand, and was stapled shut by the doctor at the walk in clinic. She called my house b/c her mom was not yet back to the house when this tragic event took place thus she called my house and my parents went to her rescue.

I have come to think that eskimo kisses should be shared by husbands and wives (this of course I am guessing b/c I have been neigther) and by a child under the age of 4 and someone old. Mom eskimo kissed me last night and I found it almost disturbing. But if the way mentioned is the way my mom does so choose to display her afection towards me then I shall take them with out any complaints. I love my mommy. Just so ya know, if you are ever depressed moms are great at helping you out of it.

This evening I am expecting to enjoy some of the pleasures known to be enjoyed by people who play the wii. I have rarely used this form of timewaster but I intend to do so tonight with my newly lame friend (lol). We are gonna house sit. ;D

I hope you have enjoyed my somewhat unstimulating post. Thank you and good day.

So Tony I mentioned something about this sweet car. I figured I'd let you see it now. I honestly don't know much about it other than it is kinda pretty. So if someone does you could sorta help me out here.

I just got back from going to see Kung Fu Panda. I don't recommend that you go see it. Don't bother to spend you money.

My aunt is in town and said that she would take us to see a movie namely Kung Fu Panda. I read up on it and the review looked pretty clean. Very little inuendo the worst thing in it was the Eastern religious stuff. I thought, pretty clean I can't really red flag it for any reasons and told mom it was watchable. The whole while I was thinking " No movies. TV doesn't honor God we can't watch it. Even our clean old movies. LORD are you calling me to give up tv?"

God is really working in my heart right now but I also know that I have been under attack. Lately I have felt guilty for doing just about everything. That is not of God. Feeling guilty all the time is not of our LORD. God very pointedly convicts.

We are called to be holy b/c He is holy. But I know that I am falling far short of this calling. But then I remember that we won't be perfect in this life and He knows it. Does that mean that I am to live a life of lawlessness? I will never be perfect and He has saved me from my past, present, and future sin so whay not? "May it never be!" were the words breathed by God( 2 Timothy 3:16) through the man Paul in Romans 6:1 and else where. We were saved to be "conformed to the image of His Son..." (Romans 8:29). We are called to be like Christ.

Well then, who is Christ? What did Christ do? How did He live? Blamelessly. He preached, served, and loved the Father. Christ is revealed to us through the word. The living word that is "sharper than a two edged sword"

In His mercy not only did God save us be He is sanctifying us. Ephesians 5:26-27 says that Christ gave Himself up for us, the church, to sanctify and present us to himself "without spot or wrinkle... that she might be holy and without blemish".

But how are we sanctified? Romans 12:1-2 presents the case ( if you don't know off the top or your head, as with the rest of these verses, look it up). First we are to be holy. Second, how do we become holy? By the renewing of our minds. Ok thats great but how do we renew our minds? Lets turn to the Old Testament. Ps. 119:9,11 and really the whole chapter, tells us that bythe word our way is kept pure by the word our paths are directed and by the word we "might not sin against You". If we travel back to 1 John 2:1 the verse states that "I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin." Thus by knowing what has proceeded from the mouth of God and treasuring it in our hearts we can discern truth from lie and live accordingly.

We know this but we fall short and indeed we do sin. So how do we know that we are of God and do not just have a "form of godliness"? In the closing part of 1 John he says that these things were written "that you may know you have eternal life" (1 John 5:13). This whole book is full of tests that prove, or disprove, our regeneration. I am not going to go into them here and now. And, in case your wondering, we are told to "test ourselves to see if we are in the faith" (1 Cor 13:5). John Piper has a wonderful series on 1 John and the new birth that I would suggest that you find and listen to. God has quelled some fears through them.

As you can probably see this is what I have been dealing with lately. I would ask that you please pray for my encouragement in the faith. Lies are being wispered in my ears by the enemy and it has made me blue and physically sick to an extent. Ya'll I hope that by this post this may be an encouragement to others. And if anyone has any words of wisdom my reading in Proverbs today says that we are to listen to godly council.

I am going to play with my family. Every one is going swimming.

adios!
